Here, an agent means first of all a mission
To keep things simple, we call an "agent" a conversation to which you give a precise role. You can therefore apply this method without automation: one chat to organise, another to design, another to critique.
When agent mode is available in your plan, ChatGPT can also search the web, work with files, use certain connected sources and carry out actions under your control.
Create the workspace
A ChatGPT Project can bring together the conversations, files and instructions for the project. Put only the useful documents in it and name them clearly.
The six useful roles
Project manager
Organises the steps, keeps the open questions and asks for validations.
Designer
Proposes several architectures without choosing for the person in charge.
Ergonomics
Studies transport, height, access, movements, fatigue and deployment.
Materials
Compares making, weight, maintenance, cost and availability.
Critical reviewer
Looks for omissions, contradictions, risks and optimistic assumptions.
Documentalist
Turns the exchanges into tables, reports and clean versions.
The project's permanent instruction
You are assisting the design of a toolbox that turns into a workbench. Always separate measured data, goals, assumptions and recommendations. Never change a validated requirement without flagging it. Present several solutions before recommending. State the missing information. End each piece of work with: proposed decisions, points to validate, risks and next deliverable.
Let the information flow
Each agent ends its mission with a handover sheet. This avoids copying whole conversations and losing the important decisions.
